How to get the best out of Black and White wax
The Godfather of Waxes; The most versatile product ever used and is suitable for any style, it doesn’t leave the hair looking flat and gives a great shine.
Creating Styles with Black and White Wax…
Crops… “Black and White wax works great with crops. For best results apply a generous amount of the wax through the hair for extreme hold and shine.”
Growing out a short style… “Growing out a short style is never easy-especially once it gets to that in-between stage. Keep it looking great with Black and White wax, which should give your hair that groomed look without it looking greasy.”
Long Hair… “Long hair is not easy to look after but with Black and White wax you can never go wrong. Work the wax until warm in the hands then guide through the hair gently.”
Short and Sleek… “Styling is easy with Black and White wax for a short and sleek look. Simply wash your hair as usual with Black and White deep cleansing shampoo and then rub Black and White wax into the hair.”
Frizzy Hair… “Even the worst hair day can’t defeat the new trendy pot of Black and White wax. To tame the wildest frizz, apply a small amount of the wax to the roots then through the mid-lengths and finally the ends of the hair with your fingertips to achieve the desired look.”
For years, Black & White has been synonymous with men’s grooming, but not any more. Men and women alike are starting to see the true versatility of this great little pot, as it becomes an essential styling product for virtually any style in fashion.
Convenient and compact, the Black & White Wax fits into a handbag so you can style your hair anywhere you go. (Also, if you only need the one pot for both yours and his styling – all you need to worry about is who’ll buy it!).
Black & White Wax Loves…
Short Crops:
Rub small amount of Black & White Wax through fingers and work through the hair. Pull, twist and roughly massage hair with fingers to add texture and shape to the style. Excellent to create the Sharon Stone look.
Short sides/Long on top Styles:
Finger dry hair to create texture. Apply small amount of Black & White Wax onto palms and rub hands together until shiny looking. Rake fingers through the longer layers on the top and style. Zoe Ball and Meg Ryan cuts are ideal for this styling technique.
The Classic Bob:
Prevent flyaway hair by applying small amount of Black & White Wax into hands and work through the length of the hair through to the ends. Wax prevents the hair from getting static and makes it easy to style.
The Contemporary High Shine & Sleek Style
For that more street, funky look, use straightening irons to get ultra sleek hair and take small sections of the hair and drag finger tips, coated with Black & White Wax, from near the roots to the ends to get that cool ultra straight look. Spritz with a firm holdspray to hold the hair.
The Shadow Cut:
Great for creating texture into this new funky ‘rock chick’ style (think 80’s Suzie Quatro updated). Apply Black & White wax through the lengths avoiding roots to disconnect and texturise style.
Curls and Perms:
Massage small amount of Black & White Wax into palm of hands and simply scrunch into the hair to hold and emphasise beautiful looking curls. Great to use as a de-frizz, too. The wax isn’t too heavy so won’t weigh the curls down but keep them looking fresh and bouncy.
Afro & Asian Hair:
Black & White Wax was first introduced as an Afro hair product because of its versatility to style coarser and drier hair. Black & White Wax adds moisture back into the hair, leaving Afro/Asian hair without frizz, but smooth and shiny looking hair. |
