We usually hold good stocks at our warehouse and are available for immediate despatch. These make wonderful gifts for people and are so practical. Whether you want to scrub on it, play on it, or hang it on the wall these washboards are ideal. A washboard was traditionally used to do the entire washing load, which you can still can but why not use it as an enhancement to your washing machine and use it to pre treat stains, collars, cuffs, etc in fact anything that gets notoriously dirty.

These washboards are hand made, one at a time in the USA by the Columbus Washboard Company which was established in 1895 and has manufactured their washboards in the traditional way using the same machinery for almost a century. The designs are ones that have been used for many, many years and look stunning. Why buy an old washboard that has been used to clean someone else's smalls when you can buy a brand new one that looks this good? Buying these washboards also helps support the Columbus Washboard Company so they can continue to manufacture, and provide skilled jobs whilst keeping history alive in the 21st Century.
