Vim was the first universal scouring powder, invented in 1904. The name Vim was probably chosen as a reference to the colloquial noun vim, meaning force, energy, vigor.
Today's Vim comes in a plastic container, but still has the "shaker" at the top.
High power Vim removes grease and stains, while its sanitising action kills germs, leaving surfaces hygienically clean.
Dampen the surface to be cleaned, sprinkle on Vim. Wipe with a damp cloth and rinse. For really stubborn stains, leave Vim to penetrate longer before wiping clean.
Vim cleans sinks, baths, wash basins, toilet bowls, ceramic tiles, cookers, pots, pans and working surfaces.
