The Pond’s  “Brand” was born in 1846 in the US, when “Pond’s Extracts” was developed by Theron T. Pond. Pond’s Cold Cream was launched in 1918. It was, for many years women’s “beauty secret”

Early advertising focused on Pond’s Cold Cream’s deep cleansing benefits, with the promise that “using Pond’s would change you life”.

The Pond’s “7 Day Beauty Plan”, used in advertising from the 1950’s - mid 1960’s, recommended “creaming twice” with Pond’s: first to clean out dirt; then again to cream in softness.

Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser has been used by famous actresses for years.
