Press release : 12/1/2017
We thank you for your continued loyalty throughout a very difficult 2016. Here's to 2017!
Just after we were on the Simon Mayo Drivetime show on BBC Radio 2, disaster struck for us. In the history of our company it could not have happened at a worse time. We suddenly encountered problems with our manufacturing and raw materials which meant we were unable to offer our own carbolic soap for the rest of 2016. We had overwhelming interest, and demand but no way of manufacturing our product.
We are pleased, however to announce that we are about to put all of this behind us. Machinery has been repaired or replaced, and supply is about to be restored. We aim to begin offering the full range of Carbolic Soap Company products from Saturday 21st January 2017.
Selling other manufacturer's products helped a little, but as you can imagine this put enormous pressure on us. As a result have had to make some changes as a company to enable us to remain viable as a business. We sincerely apologise to all of our customers for the unfortunate situation. This has been a distressing time for all of us, and we have asked "why?" more times than you can imagine. We did not let this get us down, however and resolutely decided to get production up and running again no matter what.
Our products will be the same high quality you have come to expect. The only changes you will see will be a new, simple website offering our core ranges, and a simple, secure PayPal payment. You may pay by regular Credit & Debit cards, as well as your PayPal account safe in the knowledge it is one of the most safest payment methods online.
Please come back to us from Saturday 21st January where we will have a new, simplified website, and be back in stock of all the products you love. Again, please accept our sincere apologies for the situation we were all in. Your loyalty means a lot to us.
The Carbolic Soap Company team.
